Ramesh Subramanian, Ph.D.

Global CEO

Dr. Ramesh has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, MBA (finance) from The Wharton School and over 21 years of rich global experience in building businesses across Asia, Europe, and North America.

He has significant experience in raising venture capital, leading strategic transformation initiatives, overseeing mergers and acquisitions, and managing cross-border partnerships. His background contributes to the strategic direction and growth of PI Health Sciences.

Simon Haydar, Ph.D.

Chief Scientific Officer

Dr. Simon has a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Vermont and completed a fellowship at Florida State University. He has over two decades of rich experience in the pharma industry where he led teams to develop novel oral therapies for Neuroscience, Oncology and Infectious Diseases.

Dr. Simon has authored multiple INDs and led the development of 8 clinical candidates into Phase 3. He holds 31 issued patents and has authored 49 publications and 5 review papers.

Alessio Piccoli

Chief Commercial Officer

Mr. Alessio has an MBA from LSE, London School of Economics and Political Science, and brings over 24 years of global experience and expertise in the pharma industry with a focus on innovation and speed in business development while emphasizing quality and safety.

Alessio has had an exemplary career in the pharmaceuticals Industry where he covered positions in R&D, pharmaceuticals trading, CRDMO & CMO, ans dossier and licensing businesses.

Franco Moro

Mr. Franco brings nearly 40 years of leadership experience in the life sciences sector. He holds a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from the University of Padua and an MBA from SDA Bocconi. Over the years, he has led global operations and business strategies across the US, China, and Italy.

As CEO of FIS and Stevanato Group, he drove key growth and transformation initiatives, including Stevanato’s NYSE listing. His career is defined by a strong focus on innovation, quality, and customer-centric approaches, contributing to advancements in global healthcare.

Ramkumar Esakki

A Senior Pharmaceutical Executive with 26 years of global experience in CDMO operations, API manufacturing, and strategic leadership. He has held senior leadership roles at Suven Pharmaceuticals, Aragen Life Sciences, Eisai Pharmaceuticals, Strides Shasun, Kudos Chemie and Dr.Reddy’s.

He is a Chemical Engineering graduate from Anna University, Chennai, and has completed Executive Management Programs from ISB, Hyderabad and IIM, Bangalore.

His expertise lies in driving growth, operational excellence, new product launches, large-scale greenfield and brownfield projects, lifecycle management, supply chain optimization, regulatory excellence, technology transfer, ESG initiatives, and digital transformation.
He has been instrumental in bringing cutting-edge technologies into pharmaceutical operations and was honoured with the Demand Innovation Award from Eisai Japan. He has also received numerous awards for innovation, operational excellence, and EHS leadership.

Padmanabhan S

Padmanabhan brings over 32 years of experience in HR, with expertise in Strategic HR Business Partnering, Change Management, Employee Experience, and HR Transformation. He has held leadership roles at organizations such as MSN Laboratories, L&T, Cadila Pharmaceuticals, and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories.

In his most recent role, he served as Sr. Vice President & CHRO at MSN Group. He holds a Master of Labour Management from the University of Madras and an Advanced Diploma in Management from AIMA.

Ankit Nayyar

Mr. Ankit Nayyar is a Chartered Accountant with over 17 years of experience across pharmaceuticals, consumer health, insurance, and agribusiness. He is an alumnus of Manchester Business School and Shri Ram College of Commerce. He has held leadership roles at Bayer, Monsanto, Pfizer, and Tata AIG Life.

At Bayer, he led finance for the Consumer Health business, delivering strong revenue growth. At Monsanto, he managed FP&A and played a key role in the Bayer-Monsanto M&A integration. His expertise spans corporate finance, M&A, treasury, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
